[HOT] City of Dallas Regional Center

One thing I found interesting about the below article on the City of Dallas Regional Center is that Chinese EB-5 investors might view a greater involvement by a city or state government as a positive sign. Imagine if the U.S. federal government itself, such as the Commerce Department, obtains a Regional Center designation?

According to Alabama Center for Foreign Investment, LLC (a designated regional center program), they were the first regional center in the nation -- as far as they are aware -- to get Iranians' I-526 petitions approved after Iranians' I-526 petitions became stalled around March 1, 2009.

PIDC LP 15 Aker Shipping project receives its first I-829 approval

PIDC Regional Center's LP 15 project involving Aker Shipping of the Navy Yard has recently received its first I-829 conditions removal approval. Aker is engaged in building large container vessels, which is critical to the competitiveness of American shipbuilding industry. We expect other I-829 approvals for LP 15 to follow.

[HOT] PIDC Regional Center's LP 13 EB-5 Project receives its first I-829 approval!

Recently, LP 13 EB-5 project for the Philadelphia PIDC Regional Center Program, involving K.P. Grant/Home Hospice Care commercial building construction, has received its first I-829 approval. This makes 49 I-829 approvals spread among ten (10) EB-5 projects. Fortunately, this project did manage to create sufficient number of jobs for I-829 purpose, even during this tough economic times.

First I-829 approved for LP 14 EB-5 Project, Agusta helicopters manufacturing company

First I-829 has been approved for the Philadelphia PIDC Regional Center LP 14 (Agusta helicopters manufacturing company). This I-829 approval is the 42nd approval overall.

Five more I-829s approved for LP 3 and LP 9 EB-5 Projects

On April 23, 2009, five more I-829 cases were approved for LP 3 and LP 9. Specifically, 3 more I-829s were approved for LP 9 EB-5 Project, while 2 more I-829s were approved for LP 3 EB-5 Project. These cases were originally submitted at TSC and had been pending there, but recently were transferred to CSC and adjudicated.

Another I-829 approval for LP 10 Wordsworth Academy EB-5 Project

On April 21, 2009, the Philadelphia PIDC Regional Center Program received another I-829 conditions removal approval for LP 10, Wordsworth Academy EB-5 Project.

Two more I-829 approval for LP 9, Temple University Health System EB-5 project

Two additional I-829 for Temple University Health System, Inc. project, the LP 9 project for the Philadelphia PIDC Regional Center, has been approved. This brings I-829 approvals for this particular EB-5 project to 8th.

[HOT] LP 7 Advanced Sports EB-5 Project receives its first I-829 approval!

On April 7, 2009, LP 7 Advanced Sports EB-5 project of the Philadelphia PIDC Regional Center Program received its first I-829 approval (27th I-829 approval overall) for one Investor and family members residing in Colorado, making this I-829 approval a 27th I-829 approval for the Philadelphia PIDC Regional Center Program. Congratulations to the investor and his family members.

LP 9 (Temple University Health System) project of PIDC Regional Center receives its 6th I-829 conditions removal application

LP 4 project of PIDC Regional Center receives 4th I-829 approval

Another I-829 approval obtained for LP 10

On March 5th 2009, another I-829 was approved for LP 10 project of the Philadelphia PIDC Regional Center Program, bringing the approved I-829 cases to 24 for the entire PIDC Regional Center EB-5 projects.

[HOT] LP 3, LP 9, LP 10 and LP 11 EB-5 Projects of PIDC Regional Center receive additional I-829 approvals

Today, four (4) EB-5 projects completed through the Philadelphia PIDC Regional Center Program received additional I-829 approvals as follows:

LP 3: One
LP 9: One
LP 10: One
LP 11: One

As you probably guessed from the above info, USCIS often does not adjudicate I-829s according to the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method. In other words, a I-829 submitted later may be adjudicated quicker.

[HOT] Philadelphia PIDC Regional Center receives 18th and 19th I-829 approvals for its EB-5 projects

On February 11, 2009, the Philadelphia PIDC Regional Center received two (2) I-829 approvals (Permanent Green Cards) for one investor (single) who participated in its LP 4 (Duane Morris law firm renovation project) and another investor and family who participated in LP 9 (Temple University Health System construction project).
