Victorville Regional Center becomes the first regional center to be terminated by USCIS

We hope the Victorville Regional Center Program gets reinstated quickly, so that there will be no adverse impact on the EB-5 investors already signed up.
This incident shows that the involvement by either a city or state government with a regional center in itself is no guarantee that the regional center will be managed well, and that the government involvement in itself should not be taken as an indication that the EB-5 project is strong: the track record and the general partner's experience are also important. Each EB-5 project must be reviewed and analyzed on its individual merits in relation to two kinds of risk: immigration and investment risk.
