[HOT] Going beyond the I-9 requirements to deny I-829 denials?
In some I-829 cases, USCIS is known to require documentation to prove lawful immigrant status of employees hired that appear to be beyond I-9 requirements. In this event, it should be challenged. However, imposing this kind of burdensome requirements is making it very, very difficult to evidence any directly-created jobs.
Here is additional source of risks related to I-829 adjudication. USCIS is making it more and more difficult for any EB-5 projects to take place. We personally wish the Congress would decide either to kill off EB-5 Program or give some push, instead of letting USCIS choke the EB-5 Program to death.
