Dad, I want to live and work in the United States!
He was over 21 foreign student attending pretty well-known university in the West coast. He majored in business and into hot rod cars. As his graduation date approached, he still had not found a job, mainly because most employers in the U.S. were hesitant to offer him a position and apply for a working visa. He didnt' want to go back and work under his father's company at his home country either, so he finally did research on his own and found a Regional Center that he felt comfortable with, and he persuaded his parents to gift him the necessary amount to pursue a Regional Center EB-5 case. He obtained his conditional permanent resident status, and he is currently in the process of waiting for I-829 approval.
