[HOT] President Obama signs the 3 years extension bill of the EB-5 Regional Center Program

Update:

On Friday, September 28, 2012, the President signed into law:

S. 3245, which extends to September 30, 2015, the expiration dates of key requirements of four immigration programs administered by the Department of Homeland Security: the EB-5 Regional Center Program; the E-Verify Program; the Special Immigrant Non-Minister Religious Worker Program; and the Conrad State 30 J-1 Visa Waiver Program.

On September 13, 2012, the House passed the bill to extend the EB-5 Regional Center Program for 3 years by a vote of 412-3. This means since the bill has now passed both the Senate and the House, the bill will now go to President Obama for his signature, a mere formality. This means the 3 year extension of the EB-5 Regional Center Program is a done deal.

I guess there will be the same frenetic effort to extend the EB-5 RC Program as the new sunset deadline of September 30, 2015 approaches. Too much time and effort spent on getting extensions. Either make the EB-5 Regional Center Program permanent or let the Program die.

S. 3245 - A bill to extend by 3 years the authorization of the EB-5 Regional Center Program, the E-Verify Program, the Special Immigrant Nonminister Religious Worker Program, and the Conrad State 30 J-1 Visa Waiver Program
